For your consideration: an entry from the Drive-By Shooting series.

The setting: San Fransisco Bay, 11:30pm. The scene: the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, during a nocturnal photographic excursion with Jerry.

Apparitions dance and leap above neon flames, perhaps in the (contradictory) directions indicated -- perhaps not.
