Seeing 2011 (#23)

For your consideration: a metallic march across a barren landscape, towards distant, unknown horizons and precipices; perhaps they are all following pipe dreams.

What attracted me to this odd subject for my lens was the discovery of a several coherent patterns interleaved amidst the apparent chaos of this landscape. As is frequent in human affairs, there can exist a sense of order and purpose to the confusion.
