Seeing 2012 (#77)

For your consideration:  an incongruous encounter of two vastly different travelers, afloat upon a surface as vast as it is dynamically varied in both form and duration.  The hint of an encroaching, meaningful boundary is as ethereal in its duration as the tenuous of its line; it serves instead as an omen and verdict:  after the next oceanic blitz sweeps over the scene it won't likely be the sturdy, fortress sphere which survives to again emerge into the fresh air.

There are times when being frail and buoyant has its advantage.
