For your consideration: a wintry day's end as seen from the most cherished and sacred of my purlieus.
For this image I tarried as long as I could, before being driven to my car by a rapidly settling chill.
Note: an attempt to significantly lighten the foreground by means of newly-learned processing techniques did not produce the desired degree of effect; I shall re-post this image within the week after (hopefully) mastering the task.
